"Artist from Denton Texas. I produce all of my music and went to full sail university for my certificate in audio engineering. My artist name is “Jairox” (Hi-row). “Jairo” is my name “Jarius” in Spanish. The “X” is silent as it represents a French X for the quarter of French creole I get from my grandma. I chose the name because I love the Spanish culture and began learning Spanish in 2021. Going from taquerias around Dallas, or to the clubs of deep ellum like vidorras or salsera, I’ve had numerous experiences learning the language, but each visit to deep ellum I experience the different cultures hidden within the deep Ellum scene. I’m still learning, but what I have learned has been recorded within the rhythms of my music. My best friend and his family are from Puerto Rico. So my music is progressing to more reggaeton heavy but I have my Texan roots. So i incorporate R&B, rock, rap, edm, cinematic, beats, pop and more into my releases and have more on the way!"
