The Wait is Over – Volunteer for 2024

DEEP ELLUM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION is accepting applications for the Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair

We are looking for hard-working, professional and passionate volunteers to help us with the fair this year. Last year’s fair was an incredible opportunity for the community to get involved, get their hands dirty, and give back to the neighborhood we love so much. This is your chance to be involved in something bigger than yourself. You’ll be joining a team of bright and wonderful volunteers, some who’ve been in the game for decades and some just starting out. The dates of the fair are April 5-7. The hours will be between 12pm-9 pm

We’ll be needing many different skill sets, come add your color to our event. Some of the positions are as follows:

Artist Liaison; checking in on our artists and vendors to see that they have everything they need and helping them by watching their booth so they can take breaks for lunch and the restroom, running them water, etc.

Guest Services: Helping our guests to navigate the fair, where to find food and information

Street Team: Pounding the pavement with a smile and flier in hand, reaching out to the local businesses and community at large and letting them know the Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair is happening.

There are many roles that will need to be filled, both in preparation for the event as well as on the ground during the event
