I'm a transplant to Dallas from the midwest, and my art is heavily inlaced by graphic novels, and design work I read/created during Covid. I use my digital background to create the work in photoshop and then translate those sketches to canvas to be painted with acrylic, the canvases are always black and white, and if color is to be added, its in a handmade frame, often with some sculptural twist on the frame to help my art stand out more. occasionally I will sew yarn into the work as well for texture.
