Capturing the vitality and energy of modern and historic cities, Roger’s work transcends the static and still imagery of common urban paintings. With long shutter speeds and dusk lighting, he captures photos of cities from around the world and returns home to interpret them in the studio with the vibrancy and motion of his palette knife oils on canvas. Originally from central Oklahoma, Roger has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Oklahoma State University and has lived and studied in Europe and Australia. He currently lives and works in Tulsa, Oklahoma and exhibits his work in exhibitions and private collections throughout North America and Europe.
