TALJAMUZO is a trio band featuring vocalist Donnell Brown (‘Don Hulio’). The band members include Talib “Twist” Lands on drums and vocals, Jamari Eaden (j the egg) on guitar, and Uzo “Blakk Mambo” Aharanwa on bass. We originally met in a 6-piece band, and decided to break off from that to do our own thing. We are still up and coming on trajectory to conquer the Dallas Metroplex and the world at large. We are a group of professional musicians specializing in entertainment for others and amassing crowds to enjoy our performances. We’re known for putting a “twist” on every cover we play, but primarily we intend to play our original music. What sets us apart is that we don’t just play music, we take people on a journey, and we do that with songs people will be familiar with, and through introducing them to new music. The show starts as soon as we arrive through our engagement with the audience. Something we are most proud of is that we all genuinely like each other as people, which also sets us apart from most bands.
